The 2012 Season is quickly approaching. The Winter Clinics will begin soon and before you know we will be watching our kids out on the fields playing some baseball.
So, we have come up with a great fundraiser for us, the adults, to enjoy a great night out! This is a public event, so anyone is welcome to join in the fun.
First Annual “Comedy Night” Fundraiser

Please join us at the “Crystal Room”, Haverstraw Italian/American Club, as we enjoy an adult night out and help support the New City Generals Organization
The tickets are $80 per person, which includes a full sit down dinner: Salad, Pasta, Entrée, coffee, dessert & Open Bar. Entertainment for the evening will consist of three comedians & DJ (provided by Marra Entertainment)

The proceeds from this event will help our Organization maintain and acquire more fields, lower costs of tournaments and anything additional that will help our players of The New City Generals continue to be successful

*Each team is required to sell a minimum of 12 tickets. Since this is an open event, like all others we have had and is not only limited to your teams, please make sure that you, your family & your friends select the correct team that your children play on during the online ticket purchases. This will count towards your childrens New City Generals team.

Hardball Individual Programs Coming to Rockland!!!
Hardball Training Center is bringing its individual training programs to locations in Rockland County. This is an early phase of a greater initiative. Available immediately will be 2 program offerings.

Individual Hitting Program

Program is designed to :

Evaluate current skills and abilities

Establish a mechanical base

Use drills and other exercises to address areas that need be corrected / enhanced

Develop a greater sense of situational hitting

Develop a hitting approach suitable to the individual

Individual Pitching Program

Program is designed to:

Evaluate current skills and abilities

Establish a sound mechanical base

Using drill sequence to reinforce established mechanical base

Pitch development (age appropriate)

Simulated games
-
Learning to throw big pitches in big situations

Controlling the running game (age appropriate)

Pre and post game arm maintenance
Headlining our staff on the pitching side is John Muller who comes to Hardball via the Chicago Cubs and Rockland Boulders organizations.
Programs are 45 minutes in length. Cost for a single 45 minute session $70. A package of 5 (45 minute) sessions will cost $325.
